Ingredients

  • new potatoes - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • soy sauce - 2 2/3 tbsp (40 ml)
  • olive oil - 2 2/3 tbsp (40 ml)
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • oregano - by taste

How to make

Wash the potatoes and rub them with the hard part of a kitchen sponge.

Place them in a saucepan with enough water to cover them and add as much salt as you like. Boil for only 5 minutes after the boiling point. Strain from the water and allow them to cool.

Crush the garlic cloves and add olive oil, soy sauce, black pepper and as much oregano as you desire and stir.

Put the potatoes in a baking pan and pour the mixture over them. Place the pan in a preheated 390°F (200 degree) oven and bake the potatoes until they're golden brown (about 20 minutes).

Very tasty potatoes served with garlic sauce or Tartar sauce.

The baked fresh potatoes in soy sauce are ready.
