  • new potatoes - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • salt
  • oil - 4 tbsp.
  • fresh garlic - 2 cloves
  • dill - 3 - 4 sprigs

How to make

Oven baked new potatoes - a very tasty lean dish that can be served as a main or a side dish.

The new potatoes are washed well without peeling and they're cut into large pieces.

If they are small, leave them whole (they are tastiest). Put them on the bottom of a glass pot, pour about 1/3 cup of water and season with salt.

Drizzle with a little oil, cover the pot and place it in the oven.

The potatoes are baked for about an hour, adding the chopped fresh garlic and dill shortly before they are ready.

The lid is removed and they are left to bake slightly.
