Ingredients

  • minced meat - 1.1 lb (500 g) beef or beef and pork
  • onions - 1 large
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • eggs - 1
  • parsley - 1 bunch
  • parmesan cheese - 2 - 3 tbs
  • chilly pepper - 1 pepper
  • tomatoes - 1.5 lb (700 g) crushed, or canned

How to make

Here is a suggestion for making red sauce meatballs in the oven!

Place the minced meat in a bowl and add 3 tbs of parmesan cheese, 3 cloves of garlic, a big onion ( both onion and garlic finely chopped), one chilli pepper, one egg, and half a bunch of parsley, chopped as well. Season with salt and pepper, and mix well.

Blend the fresh tomatoes, or use canned. Chop the remaining parsley finely and add it to the tomatoes. Season to taste.

Make small meatballs and arrange them in a baking dish. Pour the tomatoes on top and bake for one hour in a preheated oven to 390°F (200 degrees).
