How to make
In a large pot, put the chopped onions, carrots and peppers to stew. Sprinkle with paprika, stir, and top it up with a little warm water. Add the peeled and sliced potatoes and leave to simmer for 10 minutes.
Grate the tomatoes and add them to the pot, stir, and top up with 1-2 cups hot water. Close and boil for 10-15 minutes, then add the peas and green beans. Salt to taste, sprinkle with chopped spearmint. Simmer the green beans with potatoes until the vegetables soften.
Shortly before removing it from the heat, add the chopped garlic, let it boil for 5-10 minutes and remove it from the heat. Add freshly chopped dill or parsley.
If you feel that the sauce is too runny, you can thicken with 1 tablespoon of flour, diluted in a little water.
