Ingredients

  • potatoes - 10.5 oz (300 g)
  • green beans - 0.9 lb (400 g)
  • spring onions - 1 stalk
  • lamb meat - 1.3 lb (600 g)
  • onion - 1 onion
  • spearmint - 1 stalk
  • oil - 3 - 4 tbsp.
  • red pepper - 1 tsp.
  • flour - 2 level top tbsp.
  • smoked paprika - 1 tsp.
  • black pepper
  • butter - 1 tsp.

How to make

Wash and dry the lamb. Cut it into portions and season with black pepper.

Pour oil into a pan and fry the lamb. Remove and transfer the meat to a baking dish, which must have a lid.

Sprinkle with smoked paprika, salt and flour. In the baking pan, add the whole stalks of spring onions and spearmint.

Pour 2 cups of warm water into the baking pan and put a lid or cover it with aluminum foil. Put it in the oven, set it to 390°F (200°C) and leave the lamb to roast.

Meanwhile, clean and cut the green beans, blanch them in boiling salted water for 5 minutes.

Strain the blanched green beans and rinse with cold water. As soon as they are strained of the liquid, stew them in the oil, in which you fried the lamb earlier. Add finely chopped onion, season with black pepper and paprika. Sprinkle the beans with flour and mix.

Peel and cut the potatoes.

After about 30 minutes of roasting, remove the lamb from the oven and add the fried beans and potatoes. Pour a cup of warm water and place it back to the oven. Roast the dish, until it is done.

The lamb with green beans and potatoes in a glass baking dish is very tasty.
