Ingredients

  • potatoes - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • green beans - 1 jar, sterilized
  • onions - 3 heads
  • peppers - 2
  • carrots - 2
  • oil
  • salt
  • oregano
  • thyme
  • tarragon
  • savory
  • paprika

How to make

Cut the potatoes into circles and arrange 1/3 of them in a greased oven dish, to cover the bottom. Cover them with green beans, peppers, carrots and onions.

Sprinkle the dish with spices and oil. On top, arrange the remaining 2/3 of the potatoes, overlapping them, just like a fan. Sprinkle them with spices and brush them with a little oil on top. Add a little water too.

Bake in a preheated oven. The dish is kind of like a moussaka and ends up quite beautiful.
