Pizza is a favorite dish of people of all ages. There is hardly a person who would not want a freshly baked Margherita, Capricciosa, Neapolitan, Calzone or Quattro Formaggii. Who wouldn't? Each one of these delights is fragrant, soft and melts in your mouth.
However, that's not the case with leftover pizza from last night. After being left for a few hours, it loses its initial appetizing appearance and must be reheated. How to reheat pizza to make it just as delicious?
This question was answered by chefs from a pizzeria in Brooklyn. According to them, many people use a microwave oven to reheat their pizza, but this is the wrong approach, because after a few minutes in the machine, the dough looks soggy and tastes kind of weird.
It would also be wrong to put last night's pizza back in the oven, as this will cause the dough to dry out and become even harder.
That's why experienced chefs recommend reheating leftover pizza in a pan. For this purpose, they must be placed in the non greased appliance and baked for 2 minutes.
The cooks then advise to drip a little water around the pieces and cover the pan with a lid and remove it from the heat. The pizza should be left under the lid for one minute and then it is ready to eat.
The result is a crispy crust, soft core and perfectly melted cheese!
