The dish meat with mushrooms and cream is a culinary classic that is prepared easily and very tasty. With it you can welcome guests or prepare it for your loved ones.
It is most often made with pork, but can also be made with chicken fillet. For this purpose we need: 500 g pork, 1 onion 1, fresh mushrooms or canned - 250-300 g, cooking cream - 250 ml, water - 250 ml, flour - 1-2 tbsp., salt, black pepper , parsley, slices of lemon, optionally 2-3 cloves of garlic.
Here is the method of preparing meat with mushrooms and cream:
Cut the pork into strips. Heat fat in a deep frying pan and fry the pork in it until golden brown. The peeled onion is finely chopped and fried briefly until soft.
The mushrooms are cut into pieces, if they are canned, strain well. They are added to the meat and onion and let everything cook together until the liquid evaporates.
Then pour flour, mix and pour water, by stirring again with a wooden spoon.
Now comes the turn of the cooking cream, which is poured into the pan to mix the products. It is left on low heat to stew until the dish thickens - about 15-20 minutes. Towards the end of cooking, season with salt, crushed garlic and freshly ground black pepper.
Serve sprinkled with finely chopped fresh parsley and slices of lemon.
It is also prepared with chicken fillet according to the same recipe.
If you want the meat to be portioned like steaks, first pound the pork thinly. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper. They are placed in a baking pan and baked with a little oil in a heated oven at 200°C until done, and at the end you can cover with foil to prevent burning.
Fry the mushrooms and onions separately, let the liquid evaporate. Add chopped garlic and parsley, then pour this mixture into the baking pan next to the chicken steaks and cover with cooking cream.
It is left in the oven for a short time to mix the flavors and the cream to thicken slightly.
Serve a portion of steaks with mushrooms and cream sauce.
