How to make
Clean the onions and garlic, chop them coarsely and braise in the oil. Then add the chopped carrots, champignons (drain their juice but save it), and in a few min. - the cleaned rice.
Season with 2-3 pinches savory and pour in the juice from sterilized mushrooms or homemade chicken broth.
Stuff the chicken with the filling and sew the opening closed with thread or stick it together with toothpicks.
Put the chicken in an oiled clay pot, pour in a little water, sprinkle mixed spices. If you have any filling left over, distribute it around the chicken.
Bake about 1 hour 30 min. in a 370°F (190 °C) oven.
