How to make
Clean and wash the tomatoes. Grate them to remove the skins or pass them through a manual food grinder. Wash the peppers, bake and peel them. Put the tomatoes in a pot on the stove.
Once they thicken (mass needs to be reduced by nearly half), add the finely or coarsely chopped garlic (as you prefer). Then add in the peppers, chopped into small strips, without the seeds.
Pour oil and salt to taste and leave to boil, stirring periodically, then remove from the stove.
Once cooled a bit, fill the jars with it, close and put to boil again. After boiling for 5 min., take them out and flip upside down. Flip right-side up once cooled.
It's the perfect pickle to enjoy during winter whenever you don't have time to cook.
