How to make
Mix the yeast with the sugar and warm milk in a bowl. Leave it for 30 min. to activate. Sift the flour with the salt.
Add the slightly beaten eggs, sour cream and oil. Add the yeast and knead a soft dough. Leave it to rise for 1 hour. Set aside 1 small ball from the dough.
Divide the rest of it into 4 parts. Roll out each one and arrange them on top of one another, while smearing butter between them (excluding the top one). Cut this into 8 parts, without cutting the middle. Make another cut down the middle of each part.
Take the 2 wide ends and tuck them underneath. Do this for all the parts. Move the loaf to a buttered pot. Put the small ball of dough in the middle. Leave to rise.
Smear it with egg beaten with a little oil. Sprinkle with seeds and bake at 360°F (180 °C) for about 40 min. Take it out and cover with a clean towel.
