"A superb combination of cottage cheese and honey that you`ll fall in love with at first bite."

Ingredients

  • cottage cheese - 1 cup (250 g)
  • honey - 4 tbsp
  • sugar - 3 tbsp (45 g)
  • flour - 1/2 cup (120 g)
  • butter - 1/2 cup (120 g)
  • eggs - 2
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp

How to make

Sift the flour in a bowl, add the melted butter, sugar and 1 tbsp water.

Knead the ingredients and leave to rest for 30 min.

Roll it out into a sheet the diameter of a small tray and transfer it to it.

Combine the cottage cheese and honey, add the beaten eggs and 1/2 the cinnamon.

Pour it over the dough and sprinkle on the remaining cinnamon.

Bake 35 min. in a 340°F (170 °C) oven.

I have made a different take on it. Coconut flour (instead of flour), Can’t Believe it’s not Butter (instead of real butter), 3 tbsp Agave (instead of honey), low fat cottage cheese, 3 tbsp water, 2 eggs, 1 tsp cinnamon and ZERO sugar!

Yeah I don’t get the kneading part! I added a little bit more flour and kind of spread it into the pan. Curious about this one. It’s in the oven, we shall see ?

There’s no kneading to be done with 1/2 cup flour and 1/2 cup melted butter forming the base. I added more flour and hoping for the best.
