  • peppers - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • cauliflowers - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • cabbages - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • onions - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • carrots - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • celery - 1 head
  • brine
  • salt - 7 tbsp
  • vinegar - 4 1/5 cups (1 L)
  • water - 12 1/2 cups (3 L)
  • sugar - 7 tbsp
  • sodium benzoate - 2 1/2 tsp

How to make

Clean and wash the vegetables, cut them as you would for a salad. In a large container, combine and mix the ingredients for the brine well.

Distribute the veggies into jars and pour the brine over them.

Close with caps and store in a cool, dry place. You don't need to boil the pickle.
