How to make
Activate the yeast and leave it to bubble. Knead a dough from the rest of the products, excluding the feta cheese and eggs, leave it to rise for 30 min. covered in a towel.
Divide the risen dough into 2 parts. Prepare the filling by crumbling the feta cheese and mixing it with the beaten egg in a bowl.
Roll out 1 part of the dough into a rectangle, then smear it with part of the filling on top. Next, cut it into 3 identical parts, roll up each one.
Cut the rolls into identical parts and arrange them in an oiled oven dish. Repeat this for the 2nd part of the dough. Leave them to rise again for another 20 min.
Smear the buns with the beaten egg yolk and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven for 30-35 min. Tasty goodness! The perfect weekend breakfast!
