  • feta cheese - 2 blocks, about 1/2" (1 cm) thick
  • tomatoes - 4 slices
  • cherry tomatoes - 4, yellow
  • butter - 2 slices
  • peppers - 2 round slices
  • basil - 2 pinches
  • black pepper - 2 pinches

How to make

Preheat the oven to 370°F (190 °C), while you prepare the feta cheese. Make the 2 bags separately.

Prepare 2 separate baking paper sheets, both of them 12″ x 12″ (30 x30 cm). Put some basil and a pinch of black pepper in each. If you'd like them spicier, add 2 pinches per sheet.

Arrange the ingredients, first placing a round slice of pepper. Then put the slices of yellow cherry tomatoes. Put a slice of butter, round slice of red tomato, round slice of feta cheese and finish off with another round red tomato slice.

Fold the edges of the baking paper sheet such that you form a packet of sorts. This is done so the juice doesn't spill out.

Flip the packet upside down, i.e. to have the closed part facing downward. Put both packets in a dry oven dish in the preheated oven. Bake about 20-30 min.

Once you take the packets out of the oven, while still warm, cut them open with a knife in an X along both diagonals.
