Ingredients

  • eggs - 2
  • sugar - 1 cup (225 ml)
  • flour - 2 cups
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • yoghurt - 1 cup
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • coffee - 2 tsp
  • for the topping
  • butter - 1/2 cup (125 g)
  • sugar - 3 tbsp
  • water - 3 tbsp
  • coffee - 2 tsp

How to make

Make a mixture from the ingredients, pour it into a buttered and floured cake form. Bake covered in foil in a 360°F (180 °C) oven.

After 30 min, remove the foil for it to get a crisp. Take it out of the oven and leave it to cool. Prepare the topping.

For the topping.

Put all of the ingredients for the topping in a pot on low heat and stir until homogeneous. Pour this mixture over the cooled cake.

Made this today in my Omnia stove-top oven. Turned out fantastic! Since it's shaped like a bundt pan, I halved the topping and it was plenty! I only had a half cup of yogurt, so I used heavy cream for the remainder. I wanted to use up the heavy cream, so I used it instead of water for the topping. Great stuff! Thank you so much for this simple and yummy recipe.
