  • orzo - 1 packet
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • leeks - 1 bunch
  • garlic - 3 cloves
  • tomatoes - 16 oz (450 g), peeled, canned
  • parmesan - 3/4 cup
  • peas - 3/4 cup, frozen
  • black pepper - to taste
  • salt - to taste

How to make

Braise the garlic and onions. Add the tomatoes and cook for about 8 min. Once the mixture thickens, add the peas and cream.

Boil the orzo according to package directions but also set aside 1 cup of the water in which it was boiled.

Pour the pasta into the sauce, add salt, black pepper and sprinkle with parmesan.
