Ingredients

  • potatoes - 4.5 lb (2 kg)
  • feta cheese - 12.5 oz (350 g)
  • onions - 1 head
  • eggs - 4
  • flour - 1/2 cup
  • salt - to taste
  • black pepper - to taste
  • parsley - 1 bunch
  • samardala - to taste
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)

How to make

Boil the potatoes and peel them. With a press, mash them into paste. Cut the onion finely and add it to the puree.

Add the 2 eggs, crumbled feta cheese, salt, pepper, finely chopped parsley, samardala and 2 tablespoons of flour. Knead a dough from these products. Shape patties with greased hands, then dip them subsequently in flour, eggs and flour again.

Fry the patties in heated oil until golden, drain them on a paper towel and serve.
