"The most aromatic lamb, especially chosen for all fans of Oriental cuisine."

Ingredients

  • lamb - 2 lb (1 kg), meat
  • yoghurt - 1/2 cup
  • cardamom - 35 seeds
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • black pepper - 2 tsp
  • turmeric - 1 tsp
  • chili - 1 tsp
  • coriander - 2 tsp, powdered
  • tomatoes - 3
  • salt

How to make

Blend the cardamom with a little water to get a paste. Heat the oil, add the paste, cardamom and black pepper.

Fry 2-3 min., add the meat, turmeric, chili and coriander. Fry for 10 min., stirring occasionally.

Lower the heat, pour in the yoghurt, tomatoes and salt, continue to cook for 5 min.

Add 4 cups of water, put a lid on and saute until the meat is fully softened.
