"You have homemade hot dog buns, now all you have to do is learn how to make homemade wiener sausages."

Ingredients

  • milk - 4.2 fl oz (125 ml)
  • flour - 7 oz (200 g) + 1 tbsp. for kneading
  • salt - 1/2 tsp.
  • sugar - 1/2 tbsp.
  • fresh yeast - 0.35 oz (10 g)
  • eggs - 1
  • oil - 4 tbsp.
  • butter - 1 tbsp.

How to make

Pour the warm milk into a bowl, add the yeast, sugar and 1 tbsp. flour. Mix and leave the mixture for about 10 minutes.

In a large bowl, sift the flour with the salt and make a well in the middle.

Add the yeast, 1 tbsp. oil and the beaten egg (set aside 1 tbsp. for the spreading on top).

Knead a soft dough, grease it with oil and leave it to rise for about 1 hour.

Grease your hands and the work surface with oil, divide the dough into 5 balls, cover them with foil and leave them for 15-20 minutes.

Shape the balls into cylinders, arrange them in a baking pan, cover them with foil and leave them for about 30 minutes.

Spread the bread for the delicious hotdogs with the egg and 1 tbsp. milk and bake them in a preheated oven at 370°F (190°C) for about 15 minutes.

Take out the hot dog buns and spread them with melted butter.
