How to make
Dissolve the yeast and 1 tablespoon of sugar in a little lukewarm water or milk.
They are added to the flour along with the softened butter and warm milk. The dough is kneaded and left in a warm place to rise.
The eggs are then beaten with the remaining sugar and wine and added to the dough.
After it has risen a second time, the dough is poured into a deep baking pan or mold greased with butter and baked for 20 minutes in a high heated oven.
The sweet bread is taken out, sprinkled with the fine sugar and butter cut into pieces, and baked in a moderately heated oven.
The Swiss Sweet Bread is ready.
