How to make

The products are for the amount of beetroot probiotic prepared in a 2-liter glass jar.

The jar must be very well washed, you can additionally heat it in the oven to sterilize it.

Wash and peel the beets. Cut them into small cubes or sticks. Place them in the jar. Pour spring or filtered tap water, just enough to cover the vegetable. Add salt in a ratio of 1.1 oz (30 g) per liter of water.

If desired and for more flavor, you can add 1/2 cup of whey from homemade yogurt, a small piece of peeled and thinly sliced ​​ginger and a halved clove of garlic. But even without these additives, our homemade beetroot probiotic is very tasty and healthy.

The jar is closed with a lid, without tightening. Instead of a lid, you can use several layers of cheesecloth attached to the neck of the jar with an elastic band.
