How to make
Peel a carrot and cut it into small cubes. Peel the beetroot and chop it finely. Boil the vegetables for 30 minutes to soften.
Pour the strained cooked vegetables into the blender. Add salt, honey, finely chopped onion and garlic, vinegar and water. Blend everything into a smooth mixture.
With a spoon, fill clean jars with the homemade ketchup and close them with lids. They are stored in the refrigerator for quick consumption. For the winter, boil for 10 minutes.
