"Instead of sandwiches and bread, make some aromatic buns with sesame - both easy and tasty."

Ingredients

  • yeast - 1 1/3 tbsp (20 g) fresh
  • sugar - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • olive oil - 1 tablespoon, or oil
  • water - 1 cup (250 ml) cool
  • semolina - 1/5 cup (70 g), wheat
  • flour - 2 cups (500 g) white

How to make

Dissolve the yeast in water with sugar and once effervescent, add the oil and salt. Add the semolina and flour in parts, while kneading a smooth and elastic dough, which must not be sticky.

Put the dough in a very low oven to rise for about 20 minutes. Then shape medium balls from the dough with wet hands. Roll the balls in sesame seeds and arrange them in a tray covered with baking paper.

Leave them to rise again for 10-odd minutes and bake in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven.
