Sauté the finely chopped onions in the oil and 2 tablespoons of water. Add the meat, cut into bites, and the wine.
Simmer uncovered until the wine evaporates. Add the finely chopped tomatoes and broth, cover and bring to a simmer. Shortly before removing the dish from the heat, add the spices.
Serve with boiled spaghetti, topped with butter.
