Ingredients

  • chicken hearts - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • rice - 1 cup (250 g)
  • water - 3 cups (700 ml)
  • onions - 1 large head
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • black pepper - ground, to taste
  • paprika - 1 tsp
  • savory - crumbled, to taste

How to make

Thoroughly clean the hearts, chop the onions and put them together in hot oil. Once the liquid from the hearts boils off and they remain only in oil, add the rice and stir well until they fry.

Season with salt, black pepper and paprika and pour everything into a tray. Add the water and mix well. Put it to bake in a moderately heated oven, until the rice is well boiled.
