Ingredients

  • flour - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • polenta - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • dry yeast - 0.4 oz (11 g)
  • salt
  • warm water - 13 fl oz (380 ml)
  • sugar - 1 tbsp.
  • olive oil - 2 tbsp.
  • eggs - 1
  • sesame seeds - for sprinkling

How to make

For these small bread buns pour the flour, yeast and sugar into a bowl. Pour the warm water and stir.

Add the polenta, olive oil and egg. Knead the dough and leave it to rest for 60 minutes.

Divide the dough into 7 balls.

Put them in a tray lined with baking paper on the bottom and sprinkle them with sesame seeds.

Leave the fluffy bread buns aside for another 60 minutes.

Bake the polenta bread buns at 390°F (200°C) for 25 minutes.
