For this unique peach cake, the sugar and dry yeast are poured into warm milk, they are stirred and left to rise.
Mix the rest of the ingredients into a medium-soft dough and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size.
With greased hands, shape it into a rectangle, place it on baking paper in a 8x12″ (20x30 cm) baking pan - like a pizza crust.
Add slices of peaches and figs on top.
Sprinkle with brown sugar and bake in a heated oven at 360°F (180°C) until golden. Mine was ready in 20 minutes.
Cool it slightly on a wire rack, slice the sweet bread and eat with a glass of juice or coffee.
The sweet pizza with peaches and figs can be sprinkled with powdered sugar, but it is also good the way it is! Enjoy!
