How to make
I clean the elderberry from the green leaves and put it in a bucket (or in another container with a lid), then pour sugar, citric acid and water.
I mix well and cover with a lid.
I leave it for a day, stirring from time to time, so that the sugar dissolves well.
I pour the finished elderberry syrup into well-washed bottles (can also be poured into jars), close them and sterilize them for 10 minutes.
The dilution is then according to taste, I also add lemon to the quick and easy elderberry syrup.
