  • sea crabs - 4.4 lb (2 kg)
  • lovage - 3 sprigs
  • water - or beer

How to make

Rinse the crabs under running water and using kitchen tongs or a large spoon, catch them and transfer them into a pot and be careful with them, so that they don't hurt you.

At the bottom of the pot, before putting the crabs in, put stalks of fresh lovage.

Pour cold water or beer to cover the crabs halfway.

Boil on high heat, carefully stirring once or twice, so that the crabs that are on top go to the bottom in the water.

When all the crabs acquire a nice red color, take them off the heat, take them out of the water and they are ready for consumption.
