"This is the Number 1 recipe for this spring"

Ingredients

  • flour - about 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • eggs - 2 pcs.
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • yogurt - 1 cup
  • soda - 1/2 tsp.
  • nettle - 3.5 oz (100 g) blanched
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • grana padano - 1.8 oz (50 g)
measures

How to make

1 cup = 150 ml

For these delicious nettle bread buns, you need to first clean, wash well, then blanch the nettles in boiling water for a minute or two.

Then immediately put them in a bowl of cold water and ice to stop the cooking process and maintain the nice green color.

After they have been in the cold water for a few minutes, strain the nettles and put them in a blender with the eggs. Blend, until smooth.

Then transfer the mixture into a bowl and add the oil, salt, yogurt mixed with soda and finely grated Grana Padano cheese.

Sift the flour with the baking powder and start adding it in parts, by stirring with a spoon.

You should get a soft and sticky dough.

I did not knead the dough, I mixed everything with a spoon.

Cover a tray with baking paper, I used the one on the oven.

Grease your hands with a little oil and form small bread buns from the dough.

Arrange them in the tray and let them rest for 10-15 minutes, during which time preheat the oven to 360°F (180°C).

Bake the fresh bread buns for about 30 minutes, until lightly toasted.
