How to make
Finely chop the sauerkraut and put it in the cookware in which you will stew 3 tbsp. oil, the sauerkraut and about 1 cups (250 - 300 ml) of water and leave it to stew over a low heat, until it softens and remains in fat.
Then add the paprika and fry for a minute.
If the sauerkraut is very salty, first boil it in water, strain and wash it, then continue as described.
Grease the tray in which we will bake it, grab 2 filo pastry sheets, spread 2-3 tablespoons of the sauerkraut on them, roll them up into a roll and arrange them in the tray.
Do that, until you run out of filo pastry sheets. I had some filling left and spread it on top.
In the cookware, in which the sauerkraut is stewed, pour 2 tbsp. oil and 5-6 tbsp. water, stir and sprinkle it on the twisted filo pastry pie.
Bake the sauerkraut filo pastry pie until done at 360°F (180°C).
The twisted sauerkraut filo pastry pie is easy and delicious.
