How to make
Strain the cooked white beans and chickpeas well and put them in the jug of a blender.
Add the olive oil, salt, lemon juice, cumin, water and paprika.
Heat a pan over moderate heat and toast the sesame seeds (if raw). Stir it a few times to cool and pour it over everything else, by saving some for sprinkling when serving.
Grind everything into a smooth paste (hummus) and season with more salt or lemon juice, if necessary.
Serve the chickpea and white bean hummus drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with sesame seeds.
