Ingredients

  • chickpeas - 1/2 cup from a jar, boiled
  • beans - 1 cup boiled, white
  • cornmeal - 5 full tbsp.
  • garlic - 1 clove
  • fresh garlic - about 15 cloves
  • parsley - 1/3 bunch, without the stalks
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp.
  • madras curry - 1/4 tsp.
  • garam masala - 3 pinches
  • turmeric - 1/2 tsp.
  • cumin - 1/2 tsp.
  • black pepper - 1/4 tsp.
  • coriander - 3 pinches
  • ginger powder - 2 - 3 pinches
  • himalayan salt - 2/3 tsp., by taste
  • sunflower oil - 3 tbsp.

How to make

In a deep bowl, pour all the ingredients for the Arabian patties: 1 full teacup of boiled beans (boil about 150 g of white beans, by changing the water 3 times), 1/2 cup of chickpeas from a jar and finely chopped - 1 clove of garlic, 1/3 bunch of parsley (leaves) and a few cloves of fresh garlic.

Season with Madras curry - 1/4 tsp., garam masala - 3 pinches, Indian turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon, cumin - 1/2 teaspoon, black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon, coriander - 3 pinches, ginger powder - 2-3 pinches, Himalayan salt - 2/3 tsp., by taste, sunflower oil - 3 tbsp.

Mix the mixture with half a teaspoon of baking soda and 5 full tablespoons of cornmeal.

Form 15 chickpea and bean patties by hand, which we fry in a little sunflower oil in a ceramic pan with a non-stick coating. Serve the warm and aromatic vegan patties.
