How to make
Finely chop the spring onion and parsley.
Strain the beans well. Mash them with a potato masher, until a puree is obtained.
Add the chopped onion and parsley, as well as the spices. Mix well, until smooth. Add breadcrumbs to thicken them. Knead well and store the mixture in the refrigerator for about an hour to cool.
When ready, take it out and shape the vegetable patties. Roll them in flour and tap off the excess. Line a tray with baking paper and arrange the bean patties.
Sprinkle them with oil and bake them in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C) for about 20 minutes, then carefully with a spatula, so they don't fall apart, turn them over and bake them for another 10 minutes. Take them out and cool them.
Make the spread, by blending the walnuts with the garlic in a blender. Add the olive oil and breadcrumbs. Blend again. Add water, until the desired thickness of the dip is obtained.
Season with as much salt as you like.
Serve the bean patties with the sauce.
The bean patties with garlic cloves are very tasty!
