How to make
In a large pot, finely chop the cabbage. Add salt, add the juice of one lemon and mash it slightly.
Pour water up to the middle of the cabbage and cook, until it softens. Transfer it into a baking pan.
Add the peppers, grated tomatoes, oil, chopped dill and garlic.
Add water to almost cover it and stir. Bake the casserole at 390°F (200°C) for about an hour.
Ten minutes before taking it out of the oven, put the cherry tomatoes on top.
The fresh cabbage with tomatoes and dill is very tasty. Great vegan cabbage recipe if you're not sticking to the Easter or Christmas fasts.
