How to make
I used sterilized roasted peppers that I strained from the liquid for half an hour in a colander.
During this time I prepared the filling for our delicious pepper burek.
In a bowl, I mixed the cottage cheese, crumbled cheese, grated yellow cheese and mixed.
I added the eggs, as much salt and black pepper as I wanted, finely chopped one tomato (peeled) and a few sprigs of fresh parsley.
I stuffed the peppers with this mixture.
I beat the remaining 2 eggs and dipped each pepper first in flour (breadcrumbs) and then in the eggs.
I arranged the peppers on a baking tray lined with baking paper and spread them with a little oil and drizzled them with a little more oil.
I baked the peppers burek in a preheated oven at 450°F (230°C) with a fan for 20-25 minutes, until they aquired a golden brown color.
My oven-baked peppers burek are more than an appetizing offer in the winter :)
