How to make
Put the milk on the stove and when it boils add the rice, the cinnamon stick, the salt and the citrus peels.
Cover tightly with a lid and let it boil for about 30 minutes on low heat, or until the rice softens.
Then add the sugar, butter and cocoa (by stirring to avoid lumps), remove the cinnamon and citrus peels and let it boil with the lid open for another 5-10 minutes again on a low heat and by stirring occasionally.
Pour it into cups or bowls and allow it to cool, then garnish it with small chocolate candies before serving.
The chocolate dessert has not very thick consistency, but on the other hand it is very creamy and pleasant.
If you prefer your rice pudding to be thicker, you can reduce the amount of milk. If you like the rice to be harder, boil it for a shorter time.
Enjoy!
