Ingredients

  • cauliflower - 1.8 lb (800 g)
  • eggs - 4 pcs.
  • milk - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • sour cream - 4 tbsp.
  • trappista cheese - 5.3 oz (150 g) or yellow cheese
  • salt - 2 tsp.
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp.

How to make

Wash the cauliflower for the casserole and break it into small pieces. Pour the water into the pot, add salt and boil it. Put the cauliflower in the water and boil it for a few minutes, then strain it.

Grease the baking pan with a little butter. Arrange the cauliflower on the bottom of the baking pan and sprinkle it with a little salt and black pepper, then place it in an oven preheated to 200°C to bake for about 10 minutes.

Beat the eggs with the sour cream and milk. Season the mixture lightly with salt and spices, then pour it over the cauliflower.

Return the cauliflower to bake for another ten minutes in an oven preheated to 430°F (220°C).

Sprinkle the finished cauliflower with grated Trappista cheese and the casserole is ready to be served.
