How to make
The pork shoulder is cut into pieces, salted and left in the refrigerator overnight. This way, the excess water is drained, it may even be necessary to be further dried in the morning.
The pork can be lightly fried just enough to seal it, but it can also be placed directly into glass jars.
At the bottom of each jar, place a bay leaf and a few peppercorns.
The pieces of meat are arranged tightly to the top line of a jar.
Sprinkle half a teaspoon of ground black pepper on top. The jars with meat are tightly closed and sterilized for two and a half hours minimum, once the water boils.
Two jars are obtained of this amount of meat.
This way, you always have ready-made pork on hand, which you can add to a ready-made meal or make something quick with it.
Jarred Pork is a great idea when you want to prepare Cabbage with Pork, Pork with Peas or Rice with Pork.
