"Especially for all those who do not eat products of animal origin - see how to make your own soy milk"

Ingredients

  • soy - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • water
measures

How to make

The soybeans are soaked in water for 12-15 hours. Water is poured to cover the soybeans. Note that the soy will increase in volume by about three times.

After 12-15 hours have passed, the water in which the soybeans were soaked is discarded. The soybeans are then scalded with hot water for about 10 seconds. The soy should soften.

The water is thrown out again.

In a large pot pour 1/2 cup of soybeans - 1 1/2 cups of water. This is done, until you run out of. Then blend well with a blender. A foam forms during blending.

After you have blended the mixture well, it is placed on the stove. It is mixed at all times. During the boiling process, the foam may start to rise, then remove the pot from the heat for a while.

Then continue to boil, by stirring at all times. The soy is boiled for about 20 minutes. It should stop forming foam.

Then it is removed from the heat and it is left to cool.

When it cools, the soy milk is poured into bottles by passing the milk through a strainer. About 4 liters of milk come out of this amount of soy.
