  • cashews - 5.3 oz (150 g) raw
  • water - 4 cups (1 L), filtered or spring
  • pineapple juice - 4/5 cup (200 ml)
  • vanilla extract - 1 - 2 drops (optional)

How to make

To prepare a healthy and delicious cashew milk we only need a few ingredients.

The nuts are soft and after soaking them in water they are easily blended.

Instead of sweetening it with honey, I prefer to add an exotic pineapple juice flavor to the drink.

I found that it complemented the neutral taste of the nut milk perfectly.

If you prefer it pure, add a spoonful of honey to the liquid.

Soak the cashews from the night before, by changing the water several times.

Place the strained nuts in a blender jar. Add water and blend the liquid, until a smooth mixture is obtained.

Strain the nut milk through a cheesecloth.

Add the pineapple juice to it.

Store it in a glass bottle in the refrigerator.
