How to make

Place the peeled and cleaned avocado in a blender along with the olive oil, lime juice, onion, cilantro, salt and garlic. Blend everything into a smooth puree reminiscent of guacamole.

Dissolve the yeast in the slightly warmed water along with the sugar. Leave it to activate, if you like, but it's not required.

Sift the flour into a bowl and make a well in the middle. Pour the yeast mixture into it, then the avocado mixture.

Knead a smooth and elastic dough, by adding flour if it is thin or a little water if it is hard. It will be easier for you if you knead with a mixer with dough attachments.

Shape the bread and put it in a 1 liter greased baking pan or dish. Cover it, so that it has room to rise.

Bake the risen bread at 370°F (190°C) in a preheated oven, until it aquires a golden color - about 20 minutes.

The charm of this bread is that its core is somehow juicy, moist and very soft, which is due to the avocado. Just because the core is slightly moist does not in any way mean, that it has an aspect of rawness. The color is slightly greenish and interesting and the taste is irresistible when drizzled with quality olive oil.

At home, Guacamole Bread disappears while it's still slightly warm.

Enjoy your meal!
