Ingredients

  • rye flour - 1.8 oz (50 g)
  • fresh yeast - 0.4 oz (12 g)
  • oats - 4 oz (110 g)
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • olive oil - 1 tbsp (15 ml) + for greasing
  • oat bran - 1.8 oz (50 g)
  • white flour - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • sugar - 1 pinch
  • water - 8 fl oz (230 ml)
  • wheat bran - 0.7 oz (20 g)

How to make

Blend the two types of bran and the oats in a blender. Mix them in a bowl with the rye flour and salt. Make a well and pour the white flour.

Make another well in the middle and pour the warm water, into which you have poured the yeast and sugar. Leave for 10 minutes and add olive oil.

Mix the yeast with the flour, you can add a little more water and start kneading the bread dough.

Flatten the dietary bread and place it in a greased baking pan. Grease the top of the dough and cover it with a towel to rise.

Turn on the oven at 360°F (180°C). Sprinkle the oat bread with oats and bake for 40 minutes or until it aquires a golden brown color. In the last 10 minutes you can increase it to 370°F (190°C).

When the homemade bread is ready, cover it with a towel and leave it to cool.

The oat bread with fresh yeast is very tasty.
