"A classic recipe for beef and potato stew"

Ingredients

  • beef - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • potatoes - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • carrots - 2 pcs.
  • onion - 1 onion
  • canned tomatoes - 10.5 oz (300 g) ground
  • red pepper - 1 tbsp.
  • sunflower oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • starch - 1 tbsp.
  • salt
  • parsley

How to make

Cut the meat into large pieces. Put it in a pot of cold water and when it boils, remove the foam with a slotted spoon. Season with salt.

Boil the meat, until it's done, then remove it and strain the broth.

Put the finely chopped onion in a pot and pour the oil.

Fry for 5 minutes, add the paprika and immediately add the meat.

Mix the products, pour the broth and when it boils, add the coarsely chopped potatoes and carrots.

When the potatoes soften, pour the tomatoes. Cook, until the products are ready.

Before removing the pot from the heat, pour the starch dissolved with a little broth to thicken the sauce.

Sprinkle the beef and potatoes generously with finely chopped parsley.
