Tireless foodies, I present to you this delicious and healthy chickpea stew.
It is prepared quickly and eaten with pleasure. When you have decided to cook something healthy, but you have already cooked lentils and beans, then it is time for chickpeas.
I use a tin of 0.9 lb (400 g), an onion (finely chopped), a carrot (also chopped), a tomato (fresh or from a tin), a bay leaf, salt, paprika, chives and savory herb in an amounts according to your taste.
I stew the vegetables in three spoons of oil, add the chickpeas and spices, a spoonful of flour and pour all of this with enough water to cover the products.
Boil the vegan stew on a low heat for about ten or fifteen minutes and after turning off the heat, I add a little more crushed savory herb. I don't add parsley - in my opinion, it doesn't go well with it.
