  • fresh cabbage - 5.3 oz (150 g)

measures

How to make

Cut the pork belly into equal-sized pieces.

Clean the onion, carrot and cabbage and cut them into small pieces.

Heat the oil in a deep frying pan on the stove at a moderate temperature and fry the meat for about 15 minutes, until it aquires a golden color. Stir occasionally.

Take out the meat and spread it out in a deep baking pan. Pour the chopped onion, carrot and cabbage into the fat from the meat and fry for about 10 minutes, until they soften.

Pour the beans with the tomato sauce and season with the spices. If the dish is very thick, add about 2/3 cup (150 ml) of water.

Pour the beans into the baking pan next to the meat.

Place it in a preheated oven at 390°F (200°C) and bake for about 40 minutes, or until the liquid has reduced and the beans with pork remains in fat.
