  • pork belly - 1.8 lb (800 g)
  • sauerkraut - 1 medium sized
  • oil - about 1 cup (250 ml)
  • paprika
  • salt

How to make

Wash the pork belly and cut it into portions. Braise the bits in heated oil to a caramel crust.

Add the paprika to braise briefly, salt the meat lightly.

Add the chopped sauerkraut. Pour in 2 cups water and leave to saute for 15-20 min.

Pour everything into a tray and place in the oven. Bake at 390°F (200°C) for 40 min.

Season the ready dish with black pepper.
