How to make
If your meat is not sliced in advance or is in large pieces, cut it into slices.
Arrange the pork chops in a suitable oval plate, by seasoning them with salt and black pepper.
To prepare the marinade, heat the butter and olive oil in a deep pan.
Flavor the fat with sage leaves and sprigs of fresh thyme.
After it has cooled, remove the herbs and add the pork chops.
Mix them well. Add honey, beer, the juice of 1/2 lemon and coarsely grated blueberries to them.
Leave the meat to rest in the baking pan for 30-40 minutes.
During this time, cut the red onion into crescents and the garlic cloves into slices.
Return the meat and arrange it in the same plate. Part of the marinade left in the baking pan is saved.
Add the chopped onion and garlic, as well as the lemon slices, between the pork chops.
Cover the cookware with foil for fresh storage and leave it in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
Before baking the meat, remove the garlic and lemon slices.
Grill them in a grill pan on both sides, until the meat is caramelized.
Place the baked pork chops on a plate and cover it with aluminum foil.
Heat the marinade, until the sauce is reduced.
Garnish the Bavarian Roasted Pork with mashed potatoes, lemon slices for freshness, drizzled with the sauce.
Serve a portion roasted pork with dark beer.
