How to make
The pears and quinces are washed, cleaned from the rotten areas on the fruit, peeled and cut into cubes.
They are placed in a suitable tray for preparing the jam, by adding the water. Leave it on the fire/hob to boil, until the water evaporates a little, then add the sugar.
Stir, until the sugar melts and leave it boil, but not over very high heat.
The jam is stirred periodically and when it thickens, add the geranium to add an aroma to the jam. The leaves are added and you can add a little from the stem - depending on the taste.
Towards the end, when the jam can form a thick drop in a plate, add the citric acid.
Leave it to boil for another 5 minutes and then distribute it into jars. Boil the jars for 5 minutes.
9 jars were obtained from these ingredients..
